Betty Earline McKeen

Betty Earline McKeen, 71, of Collinsville, VA passed away on Wednesday, July 29, 2026. She was born on September 6, 1954, in Columbia, South Carolina, the late David Earl Wilkins and Betty Lou Bryant Wilkins.

Ms. McKeen was raised on a tobacco farm in South Carolina, where she developed the strong work ethic and resilient spirit that remained with her throughout her life. She had a deep love for dogs and cherished time spent at the beach, but above all else, being a mother was the greatest joy of her life. Her devotion to her two sons knew no bounds. When no other parent stepped forward to coach his Little League team, Betty eagerly volunteered, guiding the young boys to a state championship that season. She poured her heart into motherhood and later found immeasurable happiness in being a grandmother, treasuring every moment spent with her family.

Betty is survived by her loving sons, David McKeen and Michael McKeen; beloved grandchildren, Dalton McKeen, Madilynn McKeen, and Clark McKeen; as well as special friend, Ms. Charlotte Hunt.
