Lavender Jean Williams

Lavender Jean Williams, 86, of Danville, Virginia, transitioned to her heavenly home on Thursday, July 30, 2026. She was born September 14, 1939, to the late Willie Adams and Forestina Morrison Adams.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Charlie Williams, Jr. II; and son, Randy Williams.

Lavender Williams was Pastor and Founder of Faith Outreach Church in Danville, Virginia for forty years and was a devoted Christian who loved her church. She loved the children in her life and any she came across. She was a mother to many more than just her own. Lavender was devoted to her family, loved them more than anything and would do everything she could for them.

She is survived by her daughters, Jaqueline Williams and Gwendolyn Davis (Freeman); sons, Charlie Williams, Jr. III (Cheryl), Ricky Williams, and Dennis Williams (Mia); and a host of brothers and sisters.

The funeral service will be held Tuesday, August 4, 2026, at 12:00 PM at Wright Funeral Service Martinsville Chapel. Interment will follow at The Adams Family Cemetey, Cascade, Virginia. A visitation will be held on hour prior to the service.
