Betty Anne Jordan Davis

Mrs. Betty Anne Jordan Davis, 79, of Danville, VA, passed away Thursday, August 6, 2026, at Lewis Gale Medical Center, Salem, VA. Mrs. Davis was born July 24, 1947, in Danville, Virginia. She was the daughter of the late Charles Wesley Jordan and the late Virginia Mildred McDowell Jordan.

Mrs. Davis worked as a clerk for CVS Drugs for many years prior to her retirement. She will always be remembered as a kind and humble person to everyone who knew her.

She is survived by her son, Billy Wayne Atkinson (Tamatha M. Atkinson) of Chatham, VA; stepfather, Billy French of Eden, NC; grandchildren, Jordan S. Atkinson, Stephanie Mitchell-Hallstead, and Meghan Joanna Rossi; and great-grandchildren, Jaden, Maci, Jocelynn, Gavin, and Carter.

A graveside service will be held Thursday, August 13, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at Danville Memorial Gardens, Danville, VA, officiated by Pastor Chris Williamson.
