James Garland Bullock

Pastor James G. Bullock went into the presence of the Lord on August 13, 2026. Pastor Bullock was born on August 28, 1943, the son of the late James Bullock, Sr. and Louise Roebuck Bullock. Pastor Bullock was a beloved Pastor, Husband, Dad, Granddad and Brother. He had pastored Mill Creek Baptist Church for twenty two years from 1986-2008, previous to his retirement.

Pastor Bullock is survived by his wife of fifty seven (57) years, Linda Joy Bullock of the residence; his sons; Mark Bullock of Greensboro, NC and David Bullock and wife Heather of Carlisle Massachusetts; three granddaughters; Paige Bullock, Brooke Bullock and Shay Bullock; his sister; Amanda Gibson and husband Tim of Waxhaw, NC and a brother; Carl Bullock and wife Barbara of Newtown, PA.

A Funeral Service will be conducted on Sunday, August 16, 2026 at 3:00pm at Mill Creek Community Church, 3720 Chalk Level Road, Chatham, VA 24531, with Pastor Darrell Campbell officiating. Interment will follow at the church cemetery. A visitation will be held just prior to the service from 2-3:00pm, also at Mill Creek Community Church, Chatham, VA. At other times the family will receive friends and family at the residence.
