Mary Ruth Wilfong Meador

Mary Ruth Wilfong Meador, age 82 of Rocky Mount passed away Friday, August 14, 2026. She was born June 21, 1944, the daughter of the late Willie Amon Wilfong and Lurie McCoy Wilfong. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three children, Terry Lynn Grimes, Ricky Grimes and Connie Bogar Ray; grandson, Kane Belcher; and brother, Willie “Duck” Wilfong. Surviving are her children, Kimberly Dudley, Randy (Leona) Dudley and Debbie (Brian) Sutherland; grandchildren, Kaitlin Dudley, Nathan Dudley, Dacoma Dudley (Hailey), Phillip Turner, Mike Bliss, Victoria Sutherland, Matthew, Shawn and Kevin; great-grandchildren, Sanayia, Daylen and Ayla-May Dudley; and brother, Norman Wilfong (Barbara). Mary enjoyed baking and being in the kitchen as well as gardening and tending to her plants. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to assist with final expenses (P.O. Her family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at Flora Funeral Service and Cremation Center, Rocky Mount.
