Phyllis Ann Creasy
Phyllis Ann Creasy, 70, of Amherst, VA, passed away peacefully on Friday, August 21, 2026. She was born on December 8, 1955, to the late Oscar Jackson Creasy and Mae Overstreet Creasy.
Phyllis was a truly special person who brought so much love and happiness to everyone she met. She was loved by many family members and friends, especially her dear friend, Tina Campbell and her special great niece and nephew, Carter Cascio and Trey Eubank.
Phyllis had a wonderful personality and a way of bringing fun and excitement wherever she went. For the last 18 years, she brought so much joy, laughter and excitement to the Eubank home. She became an important and deeply loved part of the family. Through Phyllis, they learned a beautiful lesson about love, acceptance, patience and compassion for those who may be a little different. She reminded everyone that every person has something special to give and deserves to be loved for exactly who they are.
Phyllis loved to sing and dance. She had a personality all her own and took great pride in her favorite things, especially her beloved pink cowboy boots and her pocketbook. Those who knew her will always remember her wonderful spirit and the special joy she found in the simple things she loved. To her family and friends, she was affectionately known as “The Princess”
Phyllis was preceded in death by her siblings, Virginia Hall, Cecil Creasy and Wayne Creasy.
She is survived by her sisters, Dorothy Watts (Clyde) and Cathy Irvan (Randy Peters); and her niece Christie Eubank and her husband, Talmage. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, family and friends who will forever carry her memory in their hearts.
A funeral service will be held at 1:00 pm at Whitten Monelison Chapel on Monday, August 24, 2026 with Pastor Seth Campbell officiating. Interment in Bayley’s chapel Cemetery will follow the service.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service in the chapel.
Phyllis will be deeply missed by everyone who knew and loved her. Her laughter, her singing, her dancing and her beautiful spirit will never be forgotten. The memories she created and the love she gave will continue to live on in the hearts of those she left behind.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that any memorial donations be made to Blue Ledge Meals on Wheels or Faith Baptist Church of Madison Heights, VA.
Rest peacefully Philly Pot. We hope you are dancing in the sky. You will always be our Princess, and you will be loved and missed forever.
