Tracy Tuttle Craig, 52, of Bassett, Virginia, passed away at her home on Saturday, August 22, 2026. She was born on July 2, 1974, in Martinsville, Virginia, to David Tuttle and the late Martha Sloan Beheler.

In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Hobert and Lucy Tuttle; and maternal grandparents, Sam “Poopsie” and Stella Clark.

Tracy was a graduate of Martinsville High School, class of 1994. For many years she was a caregiver, and her tender heart and compassion was evident in the way she cared for children. She loved taking pictures and was known as the “queen of selfies.” Tracy was an avid fan of the Dallas Cowboys, and loved her dog, Jax. But nothing brought her more joy than being with her family. She spent 31 years with Steven, 27 of them as his wife. She will always be remembered for her kindness.

She is survived by her brothers, David Tuttle, Jr., Joe Tuttle (Angelica); several nieces, nephews, extended family and friends; and special friends, Tony Akers, Sarah Adkins, and Tammy Taylor.

A private graveside service will be held. The family will receive friends at a visitation on Tuesday, August 25, 2026, at 3:00 PM at Wright Funeral Service Bassett Chapel, 1230 Oak Level Road, Bassett, Virginia 24055.
