Elianne Alice Rudd Garrett
Elianne Alice Rudd Garrett, 67, of Axton, Virginia, passed away on Saturday, August 22, 2026, at Cone Hospital in Greensboro, North Carolina. She was born on October 11, 1958, in Reidsville, North Carolina, to the late Harvey Rudd and Dera Warren Santos.
In addition to her parents, Elianne was preceded in death by her daughter, Sarah Hegmann; stepdaughter, Marie Becerra; and sister, Marsha Thompson.
Elianne was a graduate of Morehead High School. She dedicated 50 years of her life to working in the food service industry before retiring. She was a member of North Spray Christian Church.
Elianne was a loving wife, mother, stepmother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend. She found great joy in cooking, reading, spending time with her children and family, playing games on her phone, and simply enjoying the company of those she loved.
She is survived by her loving husband, Keith Garrett; two daughters, Jessica Crone and Tanya Starliper; one brother, Ken Rudd; and her stepchildren, Juanita Reynolds (Duaine), Tammy Alvarez, Stephanine Garrett-Rogers (Warren), Mandy Carpenter (Michael), Brandi Gillespie (Henry), and Amber St. John (Cody).
Elianne also leaves a host of beloved grandchildren, including Liliana, Nehemiah, Alison Starliper, Daniel Starliper, Lacy Starliper, Samuel Ward, Jacob Shipp, Nichloas Martin, Logan Messick, Noah Robinson, Duaine Reynolds III, Jerry Reynolds (Sommer), Noah Reynolds (Skye), Helen Bratton (Nathaniel), Julio Becerra, Anhelena Becerra, Coby Vaughn, Selina Survin, Lorena Servin, Gabriella Servin, Isabella Alvarez, Hudson St. John, Everly St. John, Amelia St. John, Michael Carpenter Jr., and Jordyn Reynolds; great-grandchildren, Dakota Shipp, Quinnlynn Shipp, Elowynn Shipp, Chasity Bratton, Elias Reynolds, and Ivy Reynolds; along with other family members and friends.
A memorial service will be held on Sunday, August 30, 2026, at 2:00 PM at Kearfott Memorial Baptist Church, with Pastor Dean White.
