Wanda Latimer Williams

Wanda Latimer Williams, 70 of Bedford, passed away Saturday, August 29, 2026 at her residence. She was born September 4, 1955, a daughter of the late Charles H. Latimer and Ann Mattox Latimer. She was also preceded in death by a daughter, Cindy Johnson, her brother, Charles “Chuck” Latimer, Jr. and a sister, Carol Johnson.

She was employed by Elizabeth Arden for 20+ years.

She is survived by her husband, David C. Williams; her daughter, Angela Updike; her brother, Tommy Latimer (Kathy); her sister, Lois Creasy (Larry) as well as six grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.

The family requests that those wishing to make memorials consider the Alan B. Pearson Cancer Center, 1920 Atherholt Road, Lynchburg, VA 24501 (The Centra Foundation) or Heartland Hospice, 7806 Timberlake Road, Lynchburg, VA 24502.

The family will receive friends beginning at 1 PM on Sunday, September 6, 2026 at Bethesda Methodist Church and a memorial service will follow at 2 PM with Rev. Rick Barton officiating.
