Robert "Bob" McNeely

Robert “Bob” Lynn McNeely, Jr., age 70 of Rocky Mount passed away Friday, August 28, 2026. He was born March 13, 1956, a son of the late Kathleen Druelinger Gamblin. In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by his step-father, Bob Gamblin; grandfather, George Druelinger; grandmother, Irma Reed; and brother, Michael McNeely. Surviving are his wife of 40 years, Melissa McNeely; son, Joshua McNeely (Krystle); two grandchildren, Theo and Harper McNeely; brothers and sisters, Shawn McNeely, Guy Gamblin, Brett Gamblin and Kathy Schimmel; several nieces and nephews. Bob loved to fish and play pool. Although he had a stubborn side, he was very independent, hardworking and was always willing to lend a hand to someone to needed help. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Arrangements by Flora Funeral Service and Cremation Center, Rocky Mount.
