Stanley Tate, 71, of Lynchburg, formally from Roanoke, passed away on September 3, 2026, at home. He was preceded in death by his wife, Sandra Towler Tate; parents, Frank and Elnora Tate; sister Donna Sue Dangerfield; son Wesley Richards.
He is survived by his children, Chrissy Boling (Joe), Jason Tate; daughter in-law, Cindy Richards; 6 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
There will be a Celebration of Life 1:00 p.m., September 11,2026, at Lotz Roanoke Chapel.
