Clayton W. Boggs

Clayton W. Boggs passed away on September 2, 2026 at Harmony Memory Care at the age of 95.

He was born in Second Creek, West Virginia. He retired as a barber with over 40 years.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 47 years, Hazel.

Clayton was also preceded in death by 14 siblings.

He is survived by his son, Tim and wife Cherie; daughter, Carmen Boggs and friend Mike Parker; grandson, Brian and wife Celeste. Clayton has three surviving siblings, Phyllis Scruggs, Juanita Jewell, and Isabelle Fogus; in laws, Ernie and Jeanne Perdue and William and Gloria; and special nephew, Ricky Thomas and wife Renee.

The family will receive friends at Rader Funeral Home in Daleville on Wednesday, September 9, 2026 from 10:00 until 11:00 am. A funeral service will follow at Rader Funeral Home at 11:00 am with burial to follow in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens.

Donations may be made to St. Judes Children Hospital or a charity of the donor's choice.
