Fannie Alma Moore Amos

Fannie Alma Moore Amos, 81, of Bassett, Virginia, passed away on Thursday, September 3, 2026. She was born on February 12, 1945, in Martinsville, Virginia, to the late Carey Lafeyette Moore and Cecil Moore. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Charlie Wade Amos; sister, Louise Hurd; and brothers, Carl Moore and Ralph Moore.

Fannie graduated from Martinsville High School in 1963 and worked for Bassett Furniture Industries for many years. She attended Community Fellowship in Collinsville, Virginia.

Fannie is survived by her daughters, Lisa Francisco Dishman (Mark) and Kimberly Francisco Pendleton (Eddie); son, Shannon Francisco (Nicole); grandchildren, Logan Pendleton, Ethan Pendleton, Travis Francisco, Trevor Francisco, Trent Francisco, Zailey Glenn, and Rylan Glenn; great-grandchildren, Camden Santillo, Braxton Santillo, Maddox Spencer, Maci Spencer, Miley Spencer, Marshall Spencer, and Giselle Jervis; nephew, Donny Amos; nieces, Melody Moore, Patricia Pruitt, and Susie Woosley; numerous other nieces and nephews; and special friends, David Silvey and Alison Martin.

There will be a Celebration of Life on Saturday, September 5, 2026, at 2:00 PM, at Norris Funeral Services – Martinsville. The family will accept guests one hour prior to the service.
