Andrew William Morris Jr., affectionately known as “Andy,” was born November 1, 1960, in Welch, Virginia, to the late Andrew William Morris Sr. and Carol Jean Bedingfield Morris. He began his education in Bridgeport, Connecticut, and later graduated from Fieldale-Collinsville High School in 1978.

Andrew leaves to cherish his memory his sons, Andrew Damon Stanley and Andre Jamal Hairston (Norchelle); stepson, Ryan Leak; sisters, Andrea Bedingfield Penn (Eric) and Alice Morris Parker; brother, Dennis Morris; four beloved grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Andrew William Morris Sr. and Carol Jean Bedingfield Morris; his beloved wife, Jeanine Shields Morris; Orlando Gerard Morris; and his niece, Makeia Morris.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, September 19, 2026 at 12:30 PM at Wright Funeral Service- Bassett chapel. Burial will follow at Carver Memorial Gardens.
