Child of God, wife, mother, sister and friend, Mary Ann Peters Ronk passed away on September 8, 2026, at age 73. Surviving is her husband of 51 years, Calvin, daughter, Lori Sammons, brothers and sisters Sue Gipe, Jean Boone, D.A. Peters (Kenlynn) and Joey Peters (Glenna). Also, special cousin, Timmy Sowers.

Mary Ann was blessed with a kind heart, sweet soul and a wonderful sense of humor which she maintained throughout this incredible journey. Loving good food, she was an amazing cook. You simply could not use too much butter, cheese or bacon! We loved her and will see her again.

Preceding her in death was her daughter, Ginger, brother Raymond (Jeanette), parents David and Gracie, in laws William and Helen and sister-in-law, Patricia.

Rest now Mermie. We’ll see you soon.

Per her request, Wright Funeral Home in Martinsville will handle her cremation.
