Lawrence "Pop" Gene Moser

Lawrence Gene Moser “Pop”, age 75, of Dry Fork, Virginia entered into rest on September 9, 2026. He was born on October 15, 1950, and was the son of the late Edgar T. Moser and the late Annie Dalton Moser. He was a loving husband, father, father-in-law, grandfather, great-grandfather, and brother.

He was a member of Axton Church of God of Prophecy and retired from Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company. He enjoyed working, listening to country music, fishing, traveling with family, and sitting on the front porch.

He is survived by his sons, Kevin Moser (Hope), Keith Moser (Sandy), and Scotty Moser; grandchildren, Matthew Moser (Hannah), Brandon Moser, Lauren Moser, Kaylee Moser, Jasmine Moser, Nicholas Moser; two great-grandchildren, Paisley Williamson and Malcolm Moser; two brothers, Clarence Moser (Sue), and Albert Moser (Linda), and a special sister-in-law, Ruby Moser.

In addition to his parents, he was also predeceased by his beloved wife, Brenda Ann Roach Moser, two brothers, Wayne Moser and James W. Moser; and sisters, Bernice Moser Spence Updike and Helen Campbell.

A funeral service will be held on Sunday, September 13, 2026, 2:00 p.m. at Norris Funeral Service, Chatham Chapel, 147 S. Main St. Chatham, Virginia. with Rev. Albert Moser officiating. Burial will follow the service at the Dalton Family Cemetery in Keeling, Virginia. A visitation will be held on Saturday, September 12, 2026 from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m., also at Norris Funeral Service, Chatham Chapel.
