Walter Garrett Sharpe, 93, of Martinsville, VA passed away on Thursday, September 10, 2026. He was born on January 8, 1933, in Elkhorn, West Virginia to the late Benjamin Everett Sharpe, Sr., and Helen Irene Martin Sharpe. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by wife, Jane Morgan Sharpe, and wife, Doris Patterson Sharpe; and his nephew, Michael A. Sharpe.
He is survived by his brother, Benny E. Sharpe, Jr. (Jane J. Sharpe), nephews, B. Patrick Sharpe (Tina), and Matthew Scott Sharpe (Jenifer); and numerous other nieces, nephews, and step-children.
Norris Funeral Services Martinsville Chapel is handling the arrangements for the Sharpe family.
