Fannie Darneal Hall

Fannie Darneal Hall, 59, of Martinsville, Virginia, passed away on Wednesday, September 16, 2026. She was born on August 30, 1967, in Delbarton, West Virginia, to the late Elmer Hall and Clara Haskins Hall.

In addition to her parents, Fannie was preceded in death by five sisters and one brother.

Fannie devoted much of her life to caring for others. She worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA). When she was able, Fannie attended Clearview Wesleyan Church. Family was especially important to Fannie, and she treasured the time she spent with her children and grandchildren. She was an amazing grandmother who loved taking care of her grandchildren and enjoyed spoiling her children. Fannie was also a wonderful cook and enjoyed singing, visiting with others, and watching mystery programs on television.

She is survived by her daughters, Angel Hall and Hannah Lawson; her sons, Roylee Howard Hall (Kayla) and D.J. Hall (Jasmine); seven grandchildren; her sisters, Betty Bowens, Toni Murphy, and Nora Helton; her brothers, William Bartley Hall, James Hall, and Samuel Hall; and a host of nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Monday, September 21, 2026, at 5:00 PM at Clearview Wesleyan Church, with Pastor A.C. Palmer officiating.
