Sarah Ann Cassidy

Sarah Ann Cassidy, 85 of Moneta, passed away Saturday, September 19, 2026, at Shelia Strauss Hospice House in Roanoke. She was born on Monday, December 16, 1940, in Bedford County, a daughter of the late Oscar Floyd Cassidy and Bessie Myrtle Tuck Cassidy. She was also preceded in death by seven brothers and four sisters.

She retired from Shenandoah Robe Co. where she was a presser.

Having been born into a family of 14 children, she is survived by her brother, Flavius Cassidy and sisters, Mary Ayers and Peggy Cassidy and a special friend, Phil Inman

The family will receive friends beginning at 11:00 AM on Monday, September 21, 2026, at Radford Baptist Church and a funeral service will follow at 12:00 Noon with Rev. Karl Hofheinz officiating. Interment will follow in Tuck Family Cemetery.
