Dorothy Rigney Davidson

Dorothy Rigney Davidson, 87, passed away peacefully on September 21, 2026. Dorothy was born on February 10, 1939 in Callands, VA to the late Mary Ann Cousins Rigney and the late Kelly Rigney.

Dorothy was of the Christian Faith and a member of County Line Christian Church. She worked for many years as a Supervisor at Hampco of Chatham, previous to her retirement. Dorothy was a loving Mother and Grandmother.

Dorothy is survived by a son; Tommy Martin and wife Sibie of Callands, VA; two grandchildren; Daniel Martin and wife Angel and Jordan Martin and wife Allison; and her special friend; Raymond Thompson. The family would also like to thank her special caregiver; Ms. Sherri Morgan.

The family request that in lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to Callands Volunteer Fire and Rescue, 11741 Callands Road, Callands, VA 24530.

A Graveside Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, September 24, 2026 at 2:00pm at the Cousins Family Cemetery, 12713 Callands Road, Callands, VA 24530, with Minister Dean Ashby and Minister Tim Maness officiating.
