Roger Dale Morris

Roger Dale Morris, age 80, of Eggleston died, Wednesday, September 23, 2026, at his home. He was born in Radford, Virginia on July 18, 1946, to the late Charles and Nervia Landreth Morris. In addition to his parents Roger is also preceded in death by his siblings, Floyd Morris, Donald Morris, Virginia Asbury, Frances Saul, Charles Morris, and Billie J. Turpin. He was a veteran of Vietnam having served in the United States Army. Roger was a good, hardworking man. He loved his family beyond measure. A gentle man who adored babies and children for they are our future and need to know they are loved. He had a unique sense of humor that will be missed. He is survived by his wife of more than 40 years Cora E. Morris, children, Phillip (Louise) Morris, Christopher (Melanie) Morris, Lana E. (Joshua) Faw, and Austin (Debbie) Morris; sisters, Dorothy Adkins and Betty Smith; grandchildren, Tommy Snook, Johnny Snook, Chelsea Morris, Joey Morris, Zachary Faw, Abagail Morris, Zoey Bouldin, Hazel Morris, Brett Bouldin, and Carson Morris; great-grandchildren, Brooklyn Morris and Gabe Snook; special sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Rebecca and Bobby Hall; as well as several nieces and nephews. The family extends special thanks to Good Samaritan Hospice for their care and love to Roger. A private celebration of life will be held.
