Mildred Goodman Keesee

Mildred Goodman Keesee, 85 of Evington passed away Sunday, September 27, 2029 at her residence. She was born October 9, 1946 in Bedford County, a daughter of the late John Vale Goodman and Mary Laughlin Goodman. She was also preceded in death by a brother, John Edward Goodman, her sister, Goldie Dowdy (Clarence), her brother-in-law, Nelson Keesee and her sister-in-law, Carol Goodman.

Mildred was retired from Central Virginia Training Center and was a member of Bethlehem Baptist Church.

She is survived by her husband, Delmas L. Keesee; her son, Jonathan L. Keesee (Mary Beth); her grandson, Wyatt Lee Keesee; her brother-in-law, Ryland Keesee; her sister-in-law, Virginia Keesee Woody (Jim).

A funeral service will be held at 2 PM on Wednesday, September 30, 2026 at Bethlehem Baptist Church with Rev. Tim Dooley officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 until 7:30 PM on Tuesday, September 29, 2026 at Updike Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Bedford.
