Linda Garringer

Linda Lorraine Salmons Garringer, age 82, of Court Street, Clifton Forge, Virginia died Monday, September 28, 2026 at the Alleghany Health and Rehabilitation Center, Clifton Forge.

She was born March 17, 1944 in Clifton Forge, Virginia to the late Harvey James Salmons and Beatrice Adcock Salmons. She was a registered nurse for 43 years and worked at the former Liberty House (Alleghany Health and Rehab Center) and Alleghany Regional Hospital. She was also a member of Central United Methodist Church.

She is survived by her husband, Ben Allen Garringer and a brother, Dennis Salmons.

In keeping with her wishes, her body has been cremated. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
