Betty Witt McAlexander

Mrs. Betty Witt McAlexander, age 90 of Ridgeway, Virginia passed away on Wednesday, September 30, 2026 at her residence after a decline in health.

Mrs. McAlexander was born on September 16, 1936 in Henry County, Virginia to John Witt and Neacy Spencer Witt. In addition her parents, she was preceded in death by her two sisters, Esther Claybrooks and Estelle Willard, three brothers, Troy Witt, Lewis Witt and Dewey Witt. She was retired from Ridgeway Clocks. She was a member of Living Waters Church of God of Prophecy.

Mrs. McAlexander is survived by her husband for over 60 years, Roy Lee McAlexander, one daughter, Mary A. Garzon (Fernando), two brothers, Robert Witt (Becky), Glenn Witt (Linda), several nieces and nephews.

A Graveside Service will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, October 7, 2026 at Old Center Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery 4410 Stones Dairy Road, Bassett, Virginia where the family will greet friends 30 minutes prior to the service.
