Neida Faye Coleman

Neida Faye Coleman, 70, of Bassett, Virginia, passed away peacefully at her home on September 30, 2026.

Neida was born on May 15, 1956, in Floyd County to the late Hugh Miller Mullins and Ivy Osborne Mullins. She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, and friend who cherished her family deeply. Her caring nature and warm heart will be remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing her.

In addition to her parents, Neida was preceded in death by her loving husband, Steve Coleman; two sisters, Kay Carroll and Wanda Whalen; two brothers, Jack Mullins and Monroe Mullins; and one grandchild, Isaac.

Left to cherish Neida's memory are her three daughters, Judy Elaine Hairiston (Jeremiah), Amber Spencer (Mark), and Kimberly Noe; two sons, Jimmy Carroll and Michael Carroll (Kimberly); eleven grandchildren, Christopher Greer, Joey Greer, Isaiah Hairston, Kylie Spencer, Khloe Spencer, Noah Spencer, Caleb Spencer, Addy Noe, Jax Noe, Lil Jimmy Carroll, and Makayla Carroll; one great-grandchild, Beau Greer, with another great-grandchild lovingly anticipated; one sister, Rachel Hall (Jean); one brother, Danny Mullins; and numerous beloved fur babies.

Neida worked for many years at A.C. Furniture in Eden, North Carolina, and Stanley Furniture. She will be remembered for her love of family, her caring heart, and the joy she found in spending time with those she loved.

Above all, Neida treasured her family. The memories she created with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren will remain a lasting source of comfort and love for those who knew her. Though she will be deeply missed, her memory will live on in the hearts of her family and friends.

In Lieu of flowers, donations may be to the family to assist with funeral expenses.

A Memorial Service will be held on Monday, October 5, 2026, at 11:00 A. M at Vision Assembly of God.
