Charles Alvin Dockery

Charles Alvin Dockery, 75, of Dobson, North Carolina passed away October 1, 2026. Born March 6, 1951, to the late Gilmer Monroe and Juanita Steele Dockery. Charles was a lover of drums, Eric Clapton, arrowheads, history, his wife and his sons. Left to cherish his memory is his son, William Charles Dockery; sisters, Janie Dockery Helton, and Amy Dockery; nieces, Melissa Taylor, and Melanie Sloop; great niece and nephew, Bronwyn Sloop, and Dockery Sloop; as well as special friend and caregiver, Kasie Scott. Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Vickie Moser Dockery; son, Jonathan Hastings Dockery; and brother-in-law, Steve Helton. The family will receive friends Tuesday, October 6, 2026, from 1:00 until 2:30 PM at Moody-Davis Funeral Service. A graveside service will take place, following the visitation at 3:00 PM in Dockery Family Cemetery. Moody-Davis Funeral Service in Dobson, NC is respectfully serving the Dockery family.
