Jimmie retired from Norfolk Southern Railroad after 37 years of service. He always had a smile on his face and never met a stranger. He loved bluegrass and gospel music. He had many hobbies over his life including bowling, snowmobiling, camping, cruising, having family gatherings, and watching his grandkids and great grandkids play sports. He was always cheering them on. He enjoyed going hunting but really he went to cook and hang out with his sons and grandsons. Later in life, he enjoyed sitting on his porch and watching the deer in the backyard and playing games with his wife and other family members. He had many friends who touched his life, and he touched theirs. He loved his Lord and Savior above all else.

The family would like to thank Gentle Shepherd Hospice for their care and compassion (especially Donna and Pam) during his time in hospice. They truly made a difference to our family and him.
