Barbara Ann Dalton Nunn

Barbara Ann Dalton Nunn, 88, passed away peacefully on October 5, 2026. Barbara was born on December 15, 1937, in Danville, VA to the late Mary Etta Smoot Dalton and the late Morgan Oscar Dalton. She was also predeceased by her loving husband of many years, Jerry Lee Nunn.

Barbara was of the Christian faith. She was a loving homemaker to her entire family.

Barbara is survived by three daughters; Anna M. Nunn Fulton (Frank Jr.) of Danville, VA, Ava N. Harris (John) of Rocky Point, NC, and Amy M. Nunn-Flippen (Jimmy Jr.) of Danville, VA; two sons; Edward M. Nunn (Janet) of Ringgold, VA and Christopher A. Nunn (Shelley) of Chesterfield, VA; two sisters-in-law; Janet F. Dalton and Barbara N. Printy; 15 grandchildren; and 24 great grandchildren. Her service companion, Dreamer Nunn, continues to support her family.

In addition to her parents and husband, Barbara was predeceased by a daughter; Mary Ashley Nunn; a sister; Judy Parkes; and a brother; Tommie Morgan Dalton.

A funeral service will be conducted on Saturday, October 10, 2026, at 2:00pm at Norris, Mt. Hermon Chapel, Danville, VA with Reverend J.B. Baldridge officiating. Interment will immediately follow at Highland Burial Park, Danville, VA. A visitation will be held on the same day just prior to the service from 12:30pm-1:45pm also at Norris
