Jamey Elizabeth Wright Fore

Jamey Elizabeth Wright Fore died on Saturday, October 10, 2026 at Paramount Senior Living, Fredericksburg, VA.

She grew up in Gladstone, VA where she was a long time, and proud member, of Gladstone Memorial Baptist Church. Jamey was the much loved, and long awaited, only child of the late Elizabeth and James Wright. She was a retired elementary education teacher and school administrator and was often remembered by her former students as one of their favorite teachers.

Jamey is survived by her two stepchildren, Crista and Jimm Fore. And her beloved grandchildren Cory Fore, Baylee Wilson (Andrew), Greer Hubbard (Richard), and Alex Trainham. She is also survived by her long-time daughter in “love”, Billie Bailey, and numerous cousins and long-time friends.

A graveside funeral service for family and friends will be conducted at 11:30 a.m. Friday, Oct. 16, 2026, at Amherst Cemetery; 105 Grandview Drive, Amherst, VA 24521.
