Nancy Frances Hangon Woods

Nancy Frances Hangon Woods, 61, of Martinsville, Virginia, passed away October 18, 2026. She was born on November 13, 1964, in New Jersey to the late Hallstead Hangan and Patricia Groff Hangan.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Tracy Sue.

Nancy had a love for arts and crafts and especially enjoyed traveling. She also had a special place in her heart for her sweet kitty. Above all, Nancy treasured her family, and her greatest joy came from the love she shared with her husband, children, and grandchildren.

She is survived by her husband, Kevin Kurkowski; daughter, Tabbi Woods; sons, Jon Woods, James Woods; sisters, Holley, Gindy, and Sunny; and six grandchildren, whom she adored.

The family wishes to extend their gratitude for the outpouring of love and kindness during their time of loss.
