Saundra Elaine Hughes

Saundra Elaine Dishon (Fisher) Hughes, 71, of Kingsville, Maryland, formerly of Dundalk and Edgemere, Maryland, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, October 27, 2026. She passed peacefully at home, surrounded by her loved ones.

Saundra was a bank teller for 38 years with Bank of America. She prided herself on her accuracy and efficiency. Saundra spent her free time enjoying many cruises and vacationing in Paris and Hawaii. Her beach house was her happy place and sharing time with her family and friends brought her much joy.

Saundra is survived by her loving husband of 29 years, Dale F. Hughes; her children, Dania E. Collins (Tim), Thomas W. Fisher III (Heather), Amy L. Waters (Kevin), and her stepdaughter Danalee M. Potter.

She is also survived by her beloved grandchildren: Noah, Naomi, Natalie, Jackson, Trevor, Alora, Tommy IV, Zachary, Bradley Jr., Brianna, Kayla, and Adri.

Saundra is also survived by her loving siblings: Steve (Patty), Teresa, Jimmy, Cheryl; and her beloved nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her brother, Mike.We invite friends and family to gather for a public viewing at Connelly Funeral Home of Dundalk, 7110 Sollers Point Road, on Sunday November 1, 2026 from 2:00-6:00 pm. Following the viewing, a funeral service will be held at 6:00 pm to honor her memory. A livestream event will be available for anyone unable to attend in person.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM - Tuesday, November 3, 2026 at the Bower Funeral Home, 1631 Bob White Blvd, Pulaski, VA 24301. The family will received friends from 1:00 PM until service time Tuesday at the Funeral Home. Interment will follow at the Dishon Family Cemetery, Snowville.
