Judy Diane Mayhew

Judy Diane Burnett Mayhew, age 63, of Danville, Virginia, passed away on Friday, October 30, 2026, at Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital, in Roanoke, Virginia.

Ms. Mayhew was born on June 5, 1963, to the late Esther Rice Landrum Burnett and Howard Burnett.

Judy spent most of her life in Danville where she worked as a factory worker at Dan River Inc.

Ms. Mayhew is survived by her daughter, Ashley Nicole Mayhew (Cody Adkins); grandchildren, Caiden Adkins and Abel Adkins; brother, Clinton Junior Burnett (Missy); nephew, James Carroll; niece, Emily Shaver; special friend, Malinda Myers; and a special pet, Buddy.

A visitation for family and friends will be held at Ms. Mayhew’s daughter, Ashley’s residence at 2013 Sugartree Church Road, in Danville, on Wednesday, November 4, 2026, from 6-11 p.m.
