Linda Marie Harrell White

Mrs. Linda Marie Harrell White, age 79, passed away peacefully on November 4, 2026, at The Joan and Howard Woltz Hospice Home with her loving husband by her side. She was born on July 12, 1947 in Surry County to the late Walter Madison Harrell and the late Beatrice Ella Fain Harrell. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her infant daughter, Celest Bowman; her sisters, Barbara Pike and Faye Bryant; and her brother, Donald Harrell. Mrs. White was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother who loved her family and will be missed by everyone who had the pleasure of knowing her. Mrs. White had an Associate Degree and worked as a computer programmer for many years until she retired. Mrs. White loved cooking and baking for her family, especially her pumpkin pies. She loved to work in her flower garden and spend time on Philpott Lake at Goose Point. Left to cherish her memories are her loving husband of 31 years, Garry White; son and daughter-in-law, Andy and Tammy Bowman; stepdaughter, Stephanie Grey White; grandchildren, Kasey Lindsay (Jackson), and Corey Bowman; step grandchildren, Kaylee McCann and Levi McCann; several nieces and nephews; and her fur baby, Sparky. A graveside service will be held at 2:00pm on Tuesday, November 10, 2026, in the Fairview Baptist Church Cemetery with Dr. Brian Chilton officiating. Moody-Davis Funeral Service in Dobson is respectfully serving the White family.
