Thomas Edward Carswell, Jr.

Thomas Edward Carswell Jr. passed away on October 21, 2026, leaving behind a family who will forever cherish his memory. Born on August 1, 1967, Thomas lived life on the edge, marched to the beat of his own drum, and never was one to shy away from an adventure. He had a free spirit and a love for the open road.

To T-Tom, life was meant to be lived, not watched from the sidelines. He loved the freedom of the road, and the feeling of the wind in his face, and although his final ride here on earth has come to an end, we find comfort in imagining him now riding those streets of gold, with the wind at his back and no roads left to limit him.

Thomas was the proud father of three daughters, Brittany Chodkowski, Adrianna Carswell, and Carolyn Carswell. He was also a grandfather to Kashton Hamlett and Katrina, who will forever hold a special place in their family’s heart.

Thomas was preceded in death by his parents, Carolyn Carswell and Thomas Carswell Sr. He is survived by his three sisters, Teresa Bestoso, Tammy McGinnis, and Susan Allen, along with his daughters, grandchildren, extended family, and all those who held him dear.

Though his journey on this earth has ended, the memories, stories, and moments shared with him will live on forever. His adventurous spirit, and the life he lived will never be forgotten.

Ride free, T-Tom. Your earthly journey may be over, but your next adventure has just begun. May you forever ride the streets of gold. Until we meet again.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Saturday, November 14, 2026, 2:00 p.m. at Norris Funeral Service, West End Chapel.
