Jackie Junior Ayers

Jackie Junior Ayers, 73 of Vinton, passed away Tuesday, January 19, 2021 at Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital. He was born on Saturday, September 20, 1947 in Hinton, WV, a son of the late Robert E. Lilly and Lorraine Ayers Lilly. He was also preceded in death by his brother, Douglas E. Lilly and Robert R. Lilly.

He was a retired truck driver with Serv-U.

He is survived by his wife, Rebecca Hurt Ayers; his son, Jackie E. Ayers & wife, Heather; his grandchildren, Alayna Ayers, Isabelle Ayers, Layla Ayers; his brothers, Steve E. Lilly & wife, Garnet, Jerry G. Lilly, Mark A. Lilly; his sister, Judy E. Ward.

A graveside service will be held at Mt. Hermon Baptist Church Cemetery at a later date.
