God called one of his angels home when Cathelee Johnson, 88 of Lynchburg, passed away Monday, February 1, 2021. She was born on Monday, February 8, 1932 in Bedford County, a daughter of the late John Johnson and Annie Plymale Johnson.
She was retired from the Lane Company.
She is survived by her daughters, Cynthia Porter, Caroline Porter & husband, E. Lloyd Mann; her dear friend, Gloria Hall; her sister-in-law, Louise Johnson as well as several nieces & nephews.
A graveside service will be held at 11 AM on Wednesday, February 3, 2021 at Mentow Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Wayne Murphy officiating. Arrangements are being handled by Updike Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Bedford.
