Kenneth Roscoe Bandy

Kenneth Roscoe Bandy, 80, of Fincastle went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, February 3, 2021. He was a strong follower of God and deeply loved his family to whom he brought much joy.

Kenneth was hard working and ambitious man. He owned his own store, worked 20 years for Krispy Kreme, worked 23 years for Valley Machine, and retired in 2012 (where he continued to work at home). He was showed a lot of creativity with his hands. He brought so much joy to his wife and family by creating special projects and drawings.

Kenneth is survived by his wife, Katherine “Louise” D. Bandy; son, Jason Bandy; daughters, Kathy Bandy (Joe), Lisa Keesee (Buzz), and Melanie Coe (Stephen); grandchildren, Michelle, Tabatha (Austin), Travis, Josh (Tracy), and Jenna Rae; great granddaughter, Mallarie; sister, Barbara Sanders; loving niece, Cheyenne; and Poppie’s grandson, Shane (Courtney).

A Chapel Service will be held on Monday, February 8, 2021 at 1:00pm at Simpson Funeral Home. The family will have a visitation on Sunday, February 7 from 2:00-4:00pm, also at Simpson Funeral Home. Pastor Kevin Cummings will be officiating.
