Gary Lynwood Hale

On Friday, February 12, 2021 Gary Lynwood Hale, 67, of Cloverdale peacefully went home to be with the Lord surrounded by his loving family. He was preceded by his parents, Robert and Betty Hale and a sister, Sandy Hale.

Gary was a devoted member of North Roanoke Baptist Church where he joyfully worshipped his Savior by singing in the choir for ten years. He retired after 39 years of service with the Pepsi Bottling Company.

Left to cherish his memory are his wife of 47 years, and the love of his life, Debbie Hale; children, Heather (Justin) Young and Bradley (Mandi) Hale; sisters, Louise (Maurice) Wright, and Ginny (Mark) Smith; brother-in-law, Jim Perdue; beloved grandchildren, Allee and Noah Hale, and Mason Young; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends.

A celebration of Gary's life will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday, February 16, 2021 at North Roanoke Baptist Church 6402 Peters Creek Road. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Arrangements by Simpson Funeral Home and Crematory. 366-0707
