ROSALIE Cleveland Johnson

Rosalie Cleveland Johnson, 97, of Pamplin, died February 16, 2021, at The Woodlands. She was the wife of the late Vernon L. “Pete” Johnson.

Born in Fairfax County, Va., on May 21, 1923, she was a daughter of the late Amanda Daniels and William Burton Cleveland.

She is survived by three daughters, Ellen Moore and husband, Joseph of Appomattox, Catherine Eileen Jenkins and husband, Robert Howard, Sr. of Pamplin, and Faye Pennell and husband, W. D. of Phenix; a daughter-in-law, Beverly Johnson of Gainesville; four brothers; three sisters; 40 grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by a son, Vernon Leroy Johnson, three brothers, and four sisters.

A funeral service will be held 1 p.m., Tuesday, February 23, 2021, in the chapel of Mount Comfort Cemetery, 6600 South Kings Hwy., Alexandria.

Mrs. Johnson will be available for viewing from 12:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m., Sunday, February 21, 2021 at Robinson Funeral Home.
