Bobby Ray Goad

Bobby Ray Goad 61, of Bassett went to be with the Lord on Wednesday April 7, 2021 at Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital in Roanoke. He was born on June 27, 1959 the son of the late Delmond Goad and the late Reva Largen Goad. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 1st wife, Bonnie Sue Goad, daughter; Brenda Sue Goad and sister Carolyn Goad. Bobby was a member of Peoples Church of the Living God.

He is survived by his wife Angelena Goad; son and daughter – in – law, Bobby R. Goad, Jr and wife Tina. Also surviving are eight grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Bobby is also survived by one brother and sister – in – law; Jerry and Rhonda Goad and two sisters and brother – in – law; Betty Hickman and Vicky Whorley and husband Roy.

There will be a floating visitation on Wednesday April 14 from 1p.m. till 6p.m. at Bassett Funeral Service without the family present. A graveside service will be conducted on Thursday April 15 at 1:00 p.m. at the Osborne family cemetery 1449 Snowberry Rd, Chatham, Va. with Bishop Dwayne Pruitt and Pastor Charles Waller officiating.
