Richard L. "Rick" Foster

Richard L. “Rick” Foster, 66, of Fieldale, died Thursday, April 15, 2021 at his home.  He was born in Martinsville on December 9, 1954 to the late Ira JP Foster and the late Lonie Clark Foster.  He was also preceded in death by brothers, Donnie Ray Foster, Bobby Joe Foster and a sister, Tammy Lynn Foster.
He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Ann Wright Foster; son, Lane Foster; daughter, Jennifer Surber and husband, Travis; granddaughter, Gemma Surber.
The family will receive friends, Sunday, April 18, 2021 from 1:00 PM – 2:00 PM in the Bassett Funeral Service Chapel where the funeral service will follow at 2:00 PM with Rev. Blake Edwards officiating.  Burial will follow in the Henry Memorial Park.
Due to the governor’s requirements for Covid-19, a face covering is required and social distancing is to be observed when visiting at the church.
