Christina Maria Draper

Christina Maria Draper, 41, of Fieldale, Virginia passed away Sunday, April 25, 2021, at her home. She was born September 28, 1979, in Martinsville, Virginia to William Herbert Wright, Jr., and Rhonda Draper Holland Martin. She was a 1997 graduate of Bassett High School, attended Patrick Henry College with a two year degree, ODU with an BS Degree in Human Services Counseling and Liberty University with a Masters Degree in Marriage Counseling. She was a member of the Special Education Advisory Committee for Virginia for six years. Ms. Draper was also Miss Wheelchair Virginia for 2003-2004, and third runner up for Miss Wheelchair America 2004.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Inez and James Draper and stepfather, Chad Martin.

In addition to her mother, she is survived by brothers Shawn Nicholas Martin and James Anthony Martin; and numerous other extended family and friends.
