Eugene S. Lott Sr.

Eugene Sterling Lott, Sr., 84, of Lynchburg, VA passed on to glory on Sunday, May 2, 2021.

He was born in Binghamton, NY on September 26, 1936, the son of Walter and Henrietta Lott. Eugene was an employee of IBM for almost 40 years. After retiring he graduated from Liberty Bible Institute, then worked in the nursing home ministry.

Eugene was preceded in death by his wife, Doris, brother Lawrence Lott, and grandson Jeremy Lott.

He is survived by his sister, Dawn Robinson; children, Eugene Lott, Jr., Joel (Steve) Lott, Laurel Shepherd and husband, Bill, Colleen Risner and husband, Robert, Bryan Lott and wife, Debby, Darryl Lott and wife, Melissa; grandchildren, Corwin, Brandon, Chris and wife, Tammy, Kevin and wife, Krista, Steven and wife, Victoria, Matthew, Joshua, Gabby, Ellie and Nate; great grandchildren Drake, Zoe, Zelse, Alexia, Corwin II, Korina, and Jeremy; and several nieces and nephews.

A celebration of life will be held in Eugene’s honor at a later date
