Lorene Jones Silby

Lorene Jones Silby, 79, of Garnett Pump Road, Charlotte Court House, died Thursday, June 3, 2021. She was the wife of the late Jack Silby, Jr.

Born in Lynchburg, VA on June 18, 1941, she was a daughter of the late Lily Mae Williams and Grant Jones.

She is survived by one son, Jack Lord Silby and wife, Tammy; one brother, Richard Grant Jones all of Charlotte Court House; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by nine brothers and sisters.

A funeral service will be held 2 p.m., Sunday, June 6, 2021, at Robinson Funeral Home with Pastor Jerry Childress officiating. Private burial will follow in the Silby Family Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 5 until 7 p.m., Saturday, June 5, 2021, at Robinson Funeral Home.
