William Ray Stevenson, Sr., 78, of Fieldale, died Tuesday, July 27, 2021 at the Sovah Health – Martinsville.
He was born on May 12, 1943 in Charleston, West Virginia to the late Donald Stevenson and the late Lilly Fouse Stevenson. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Betty Mae Stevenson; two brothers, Sonny Stevenson and Johnny Stevenson; one sister, Sandy Blevins.
He was a U. S. Air Force veteran, retired from the Henry County School Bus Garage and was baptized at the Stanleytown Baptist Church.
He is survived by his sons, William R. “Bill” Stevenson, Jr. (Janice), Scott Bradley Stevenson (Jennie), Matthew Stevenson, Michael Stevenson and Aaron Stevenson.
