Joyce Ann Hull Kidd

JOYCE ANN HULL KIDD, 78, of Bastian, VA, passed away Sunday, August 8, 2021 at her home, surrounded by her family. She was born August 2, 1943 in Bland, VA the daughter of the late Lloyd & Geneva Sarver Hull.
Joyce enjoyed being with her family and her closest friends. She often cared for others in their times of sickness and need. She worked 30 years at Tultex, Inc. in Bastian, VA and then went on to work 10 years at the Wolfhaurt Haus in Wytheville, VA.  She enjoyed traveling and was always up for a new adventure. She also loved anything Elvis Presley.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Frankie C. Kidd and her brother, Harry E. Hull.
Left to cherish her memory are her daughters, Kim Andrews and Cheryl Moses; her sons and daughters-in-law, Phillip & Lillian Kidd and Matthew & Nancy Kidd; her grandchildren, Tessa Andrews, Brittany & Richard Linkous, Cory & Dakota Andrews, Zachary Moses, Hannah Moses, Aaron Kidd, Madison Kidd, Caleb Kidd and Gracie Kidd; her great-grandchildren, Wyatt Andrews and Bella Andrews; her sisters, Elsie Thompson and Allene Mann; her sisters-in-law, Sue Connell and Betty Hull; man nieces and nephews; and her special pet companion, her dog, “Daisy.”
The family would like to thank Wythe Hospice of Southwest Virginia for their wonderful care.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, August 11, 2021 at 1:00 P.M. at the Bastian Church of God, with Rev. Cliff Bowman officiating. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the church from 11:00 A.M. until service time, 1:00 P.M.
