Ruth Baker Alley

Ruth Baker Alley age 75 of Bassett went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Saturday, October 2, 2021. She retired after 20 years of faithful and dedicated service from Stanley Furniture Company and was a member of Pentecostal Church of the Living God. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother and will be missed by all.
She was born on May 3, 1946 a daughter of the late Robert Lee and Ollie Mae Combs Baker. She was also preceded in death by two brothers, David and Bobby; sisters, Carol and Dot; and her son-in-law, Dean Blankenship.
Mrs. Alley is survived by her husband, Paul Alley; daughters, Carrie Eanes and Linda Blankenship; her grandchildren, Ashley Eanes, Austin Dell and Aby Jo Blankenship; her great-grandchildren, Riley Sutton and Sadie Foley; brother and sisters-in-law, Daniel Baker (Marsha), and Beth Baker. She is also survived by her church family whom she loved dearly.
Due to the current outbreak of Covid-19, a celebration of her life will be held at a late date and will be announced by Conner-Bowman Funeral Home.
