Brian Alexander Colson

Brian Alexander Colson was born in Yale New Haven Hospital, CT on May 21, 1977. He was a former resident of both CT and NH before moving to Hardy, VA. He was an avid outdoorsman and liked to create things with his hands. On Sept. 25, God called Brian home after suffering from a rare disease, Neurofibromatosis, which was diagnosed at an early age. He is survived by his parents, Russell and Georgy Colson of Hardy and a brother, Richard of Swanzey, NH; several aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Brian was a model citizen and a member of the Franklin County Boone Mutual Assistance Club (BMAC). He was previously employed by Sims-Portex in Keene, NH for many years prior to moving to Virginia and recently worked at Graham-White in Salem,VA.
Brian always had a smile, liked to laugh and always treated strangers as friends. He leaves a legacy bringing people together. Although he will be missed , “We should be cheerful, because we would rather leave these bodies and be at home with the Lord.” 2Corinthians 5:8 CEB
A celebration of Life will be held on Oct. 9, 2021 @3:00PM in the Coopers Cove Baptist Church, 1929 Coopers Cove Rd, Hardy, VA 24101.
