Bridgette Alicia Helms

Bridgette Alicia Helms, 34, of Bassett, Virginia passed away Monday, October 18, 2021. She was born March 16, 1987, in Martinsville Virginia to Susan Deloise Helms and the late Raish Alexander Hairston, Jr. She was a member of Galilean House of Worship. She graduated from Bassett High School and Averett University with a Bachelors Degree in Business Management.

She is survived by her mother, Lydia Simmons; sisters, Mia Warren (Fantasia Gee-Burney), Shemeka Jennings, Rhonda Penn, Shauntia Helms, Alexius Martin and Wanda Nowlin; and brother, Deon Warren.

A funeral will be held on Saturday, October 30, 2021, at 1:00 P. M. at Wright Funeral Service Chapel. A floating visitation will be Friday, October 29, 2021, from 12 noon to 5:00 P. M. at Wright Funeral Service Chapel. Burial will be private.
