Barbara Ann Carr

Barbara Ann Carr, 66, of Horsepasture, VA, passed away on Monday, November 8, 2021 at Georgetown University Hospital, surrounded by her family.  She was born in Baltimore, MD on February 26, 1955 to the late Rotha “Duke” Peterson and the late Beulah Ruth Dalton. 
She is survived by her husband, Wayne Joseph Carr, Sr.; her two sons, Timmy Ray Carr and Wayne Joseph Carr, Jr.; daughters-in-law, Sheryl Carr and Angela Carr; granddaughter, Sierra Michelle Carr; two sisters, Donna Clarke and Karen Bradner; brother, Edward Lemley; numerous niece, nephews, cousins and friends.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, November 12, 2021 at 10:00 AM in the Bassett Funeral Service Chapel.
Due to the governor’s requirements for Covid-19, a face covering is recommended and social distancing is to be observed when visiting at the funeral home.
